Each morning we begin our day with PROWL (Panthers Reading Outstanding Works of Literature) from 7:40-8:10.  Students across the school are in various groups in the building based on their instructional needs.

Kindergarten students not in a small group are in the cafeteria each morning.  They are working on building letter/sound identification, fluency with high frequency “red” words, and basic number sense.

Kindergarten PROWL teachers have been working to incorporate more hands-on activities for our students during this time.  They now have memory games, matching games, and letter/word building manipulatives.  Hands-on activities help strengthen connections in the brain and deepen learning!
