Rosa Parks’ Socratic Circle - Fifth grade created their own discussion questions based on a Rosa Parks’ Article.

One student’s question posed: What if Rosa Parks never refused to give up her seat? Great discussion of what may never of happened without Rosa Parks taking a stand against the segregation laws. The students learned what a boycott was and how it can make a difference.

We love how a Socratic Circle let’s every voice be heard. Even the quietest student has to use all of their talking chips! Way to go 5th grade!
